by Leonie Doherty Visit Date:August 29, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "We loved this property. The staff were fantastic. We travelled with our 3 year old and they made a real fuss of him. We would definitely go back. My only complaint is that the website doesnt differentiate between the room types. The room we booked was a bungalow but was a lot smaller than the building or villa rooms - too small for 2 adults and a child which would have been good to know prior to booking. The hotel staff were great - they changed us to another room which was bigger." |

by Hetty de Wit-Coen Visit Date:August 10, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Very nice hotel, everything is clean and well maintained, good restaurant and personnel in general are always friendly and helpful. The only negative thing is the jet ski rental on the beach. We hope if we come back next year the jet skis are forbidden in the entire island." |
by gate regiis Visit Date:July 24, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "the service starts from the airport by a pick-up.staff very pleasant, charming, carefull from reception desk via the housekeepers to the bar/restaurant.nice chalets in a quiet tropical garden.clean white sand beach in front of the restaurant, with jetski rental. well located, closed to the main bars/shopping street but no noise.good quality-price level." |
by Michael Girth Visit Date:July 22, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "The ressort including the beach were better than expected. Main street behind the ressort is very loud and stinky, but yu can buy everything very cheap. On the beach you have many people from other ressorts comin for swim, because during the tides in others ressorts swimming is not possible.our ressort is for familys with children, not for young people - the bar ckloses at 23.00" |
by David Perry Visit Date:July 16, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "This was the third year in a row my wife and our two children stayed here and experienced Samui. Baan Chaweng Hotel has become a second home for us once a year due to the the the staff friendliness and service , food quality, excellent Hotel facilities and especially this ideal location right over looking the main part of chaweng beach and close to the main party of shops but also away from noise if any. It has everything you need for singles , couples and especially familiies, including an excellent baby sitting service, child friendly pool, and rooms close to all of this for convenience. I would normally like to try a different hotel but based on my experience and feedback from other regular visitors the value for money for what you reviece here is first class so no need to take the risk and change! A guarenteed enjoyable holiday which will not be the last you have here! Recommended stay would be a minimum of 2 weeks! Thanks to all the staff again! We hope to see you with our family and extended family again soon! Cheers Dave Perry" |

by Fiorenzo Acquati Visit Date:June 28, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Very good position: in the middle of the action for the night, widely open on Chaweng beach.Rooms and breakfast only basic, but value for money.Great problem in Chaweng for the uncontrolled presence, without protection for swimming, of the jet skies" |
by Thomas Visit Date:June 26, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Very good resort and helpful staff." |
by SHU LI Visit Date:June 17, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Great hotel, bungalow was sold out when I booked, so I lived superior building, room is good, but TV is too small. Very quiet hotel except electrical machine make noise at 2:00am in the yard, superior building is very close to yard, so I can t sleep at that night, but they helped me to change another bungalow to live, it was nice. I suggest don t book building, bungalow and villa will be better.Very near to beach, beautiful swimming pool, its great hotel, i will consider to live there again. If TV is bigger, internet is free, that would be nice hotel." |

by James Stirling Visit Date:June 3, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "As far as I can tell this seemed like the best value for money hotel on Chaweng Beach. I stayed with a group of friends in Superior Villas & Deluxe Bungalows. The rooms were all nice and clean and had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect. Right on the beach and close to all the restaurants and bars. The staff were all very nice. I ll be staying here again when I return to Samui." |
by Peter /Susan Mitchell Visit Date:June 1, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "As usual a wonderful stay - cannot fault anything - great staff, lovely rooms and great food. Nothing is too much trouble and received first class service." |
by Marko Ylkanen Visit Date:May 8, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Location is great. Just next to Chaweng night life (no noise to hotel). Breakfast was excellent and room was good standard although my opinion was that AC was inadequote for the size of my bungalow or it was misplaced. Staff was friendly. Cost for unregistered guests is 500 bht/ guest." |
